Smiley Rating Question

Using images is an easy way of responding sentiments as visual content appeals to the human mind more than mere text. The smiley-rating question allows you to capture respondents’ sentiments towards your products or services in the form of smiley images.

To add a smiley-rating question:

• Go to: Login » Survey (select a survey) » Edit » Workspace.
• Click on the Add Question button.

• Under basic question types » graphical rating, click on Smiley - Rating question.

Yes, you can either choose from our professionally designed smiley sets or upload your own custom smiley sets.

For the smiley question, click on the Change Smileys link. On the popup, you can select from our standard sets and save. Or you can upload your own smiley sets to use.

Click on the plus to upload your own smileys for each rating.

Once you have uploaded all the 5 smileys, your custom set is now available to use.

Click on the set and you can either Save or Set as Default and Save

You can change the smileys colors by Going to: Login » Edit » Workspace.

For the smiley question, click on the Change Colors link. On the popup, you can click on the smiley and use the color picker to change the color or enter a HEX code.

If you have uploaded a custom set to match with your brand or you wish to use any of our standard smiley set across your surveys, you can set it as a default set. Once you have set the set as default, the default set will be used every time you add a smiley question.

Yes, all custom smileys are stored on the organization level. These custom smiley sets are available to use across your organization for all accounts.

Yes, by default, a 5 point rating scale is used for smiley rating question. To change the scale,

Click on the Settings link for the smiley question.

Under settings, you can choose between a 2 point, 3 point, 4 point or a 5 point scale using the '-' or '+' buttons.

You can also flip the scale from either a Negative to Positive or Positive to Negative rating scale.

The above changes will be automatically applied to smiley-rating question.
